# Members and collaborators

Open **Members** to see Team members and outside collaborators. Owners and admins can invite people and change roles. The owner can transfer ownership to another member when account and billing rules permit.

Expand a person to inspect the Knowledge Bases they can view, edit, or manage, and their read-only lenses. Outside collaborators receive access to selected Knowledge Bases without becoming ordinary Team members.

Removing a membership ends the access derived from that membership. Direct Knowledge Base shares are evaluated separately, so review the person’s expanded access before making a change.
