Files workbench

Open a Knowledge Base and choose Files. Search by path or title, browse folders, filter by source or searchability, and sort by event, updated, or created date. Each row identifies where the material came from.

Choose a readable file to open it without losing your place. System-managed paths explain their purpose; generated exports may be visible without being searchable.

An Asset row may say Described after Atmina has written a generated description and receipt into its Companion. Described by the search provider means the provider keeps an index-only conversion that Atmina cannot read back, edit, or cite. Not searchable means the current Team setting and provider leave no searchable description for that file. In MCP and REST listings, description_source can be atmina, provider-native, or none; it is absent from non-Asset rows and when provider context cannot be resolved. atmina states who is responsible for description, while the Described state confirms completed text.

If a file says it cannot be searched, treat that state as information rather than proof of failure. The format or namespace may deliberately be excluded. For the file’s revisions, open file history and recovery.
